We went this past June and our forecast showed 80%-85% chance of rain every single day of our week. However, once we got there, IT DIDN'T RAIN AT ALL! We only had maybe 3 or 4 minutes of a LIGHT drizzle that wasn't even bothersome. The rest of the week was sunny to partly cloudy and a delight. We also went December 2014 and it did rain maybe 2 or 3 days. We danced a bit at PattyO's in the rain, but then the party moved to Nice Shoes indoors so the fun never really stopped. Unless there's an imminent hurricane, I'd say go for it.
Oh we wouldn't cancel!!! I was more worried about missing out on the Boobs Cruise. LOL I can have fun anywhere, but as a boater, I know going out in a thunderstorm is just bad
While you look at the weather forecast to ensure you will have amazing weather, keep this in mind: Obviously, it depends on the season. Don't let yourself get too upset or it will ruin your trip before you're even there. Most of the times when they say there are storms, it usually means that there is an 80% chance for a 20 minute storm and then sunshine Ang:huepfen021:
We have been many times. Looks like this next week is going to a wet one. And am familiar with the forecasting in the region. Oh well, as long as no lightning, we are good to go.
