What site is best to book hotel and flights?

I've found the travel page on news.com.au to be really awesome for finding well priced accommodation anywhere, it searches a whole bunch of websites for most sites best price for each hotel, pretty good really, otherwise 2 years ago I booked with lastminute.com.au and this year I booked with escapetravel.com.au which links up with Octopus Travel, I didn't know about news.com.au before I booked my accommodation . Flights, I'm going with Qantas because I want as many frequent flyer points as I can get but I think again News and the other sites will be able to help you out there too. There is a whole bunch of sites (like roamfree.com.au, zuji.com.au, travel.com.au, hotel.com.au, expedia.com.au, hotelclub.com.au) but I can't think of them all at the moment, I'm sometimes looking at them at work booking people's travel.

 

Hey Aussiebabe - Im from Sydney and im travelling solo this year to cancun.

Did you get any good deals on flights/accomodation?

Where bouts is the best place to stay over there do you think? Im thinking either Avalon or Oasis Cancun?
