Ahhh that couldnt be further from the truth, All the groups and all the people that go together all met on here or met down there and found out about this site that way, I used to go by myself or with a few friends for years, until I started going with the groups and found out how much more fun it is... I would highly reccomend going with a group from on here, you can join our April group or the May group, but groups have members that have been going for years and years and have been on here for years, So you can talk and ask question with that group for months before you go, then when its actually time for the trip, you will feel as if you know everyone and anticipate meeting them... Trust me, groups is the way to go
I was just arranging my suitcase(s)..lol.. It seems I have packed too much, but might as well fill the suitcase(s).. Bathingsuits,shorts and tanks,summer dresses,slinky dresses for the clubs,sexy laungerie,and a cple coverups.. From what I am reading on the forcasted weather though, it looks like rain while we are there.. Maybe need to re-evaluate the clthes situation.. Does it always rain in November ? We are going Nov24th-Dec1st and hoping, praying it will be hot and sunny !!! Getting excited.. 1st time to the Resort !!!
We do have alot of Texans that go here, not as much as the canadians but who does? I'm a solo traveler so the people I've met were just from playing the games and contests, sitting at bar or just saying hi. Everyone starts somewhere. Personally I think our early December crew is the best but I know the April crew has already gotten a defecter from us (GUY!!!!) and are alot of fun here on the boards. Anytime you go will be a blast and you'll meet all types of people.
I go this time of year every year and the most it's ever rained was 30 minutes or so (fortunatly the sexy bar has a cabana so I was all set) and once on the booze cruise where it started off cold and dreary and ended up being the drunkiest, toplessness party boat our there. It shouldn't be a huge consideration as far as your packing goes.
Ok, sounds like I've got a good idea of what to bring. Is there anything I should just leave at home that most people would normally pack for a trip?

I'm hoping I can make it for a bit. I found out this morning I need to find a place in like 3 days to move to. It sucks when roommates get divorced. I found a nice house so I'm hoping to be in by the weekend. I'll start checking prices once I take my cruise in february. And they all laughed at me when I worked all my overtime.
