Yes it is available in Canada. On Amazon you can get it on a hanger for in the closets. We picked up a few off brand ones from dollarama, we use them in our basement & they work really well. We took 4 with us in December 2023, they definitely absorbed some moisture (you could see in accumulate in the container but it wasn't much, maybe a TBSP in each one after 15 days) but we didn't notice any difference in the room from previous visits,
