Definitely April! Not saying I wouldn't go another time during the year but it wouldn't be instead of April it would be in addition to.
We've tried Dec, Jan and Feb, latest and greatest is April.. the people are fantastic, people in Dec are also great... but the weather was alot better in April. See you April 2012 LOL
We've done late Nov/early Dec, most all of March, and the first part of April. Out of all--I'd say first part of April is the best weather-temps were great, people also, and no worry about being cold. Nov/Dec is COLD for me--I like warm water early in the day--not just late in the day. Early March is hit and miss on a rain day here and there, but not too bad as it usually ends as quick as it starts. We've finally settled on late March for several reasons due to work, kids school, etc. the last couple years, and the weather is usually great too.:daveandmo:
I've been to Cancun 10 times, 4 times in April, 2 times in May, 1 time in July, 1 time in January, 1 time in March, and 1 time in August. I think Cancun has the best weather in April, that is the time to go IMO, right after all the major schools are completely out of spring break.
Cold and windy a lot, I went in January and it wasn't warm enough to be in the pool really at all. I mean we toughed it out, but it was quite chilly. And at night, it really gets frigid. We took a night booze cruise and people were wearing heavy sweatshirts and jeans. I will never go in January again.
May was A-MA-ZING....I May be biased, but the first week of May was absolutely EPIC. The weather was high 80s and sunny every day, but not so hot that it was miserable. Nights were warm, but with a nice breeze. Plus, the prices were great. I could not have imagined a more perfect time to vacation at Temptation!
The only vacation time we can get is January. Is it so bad then that we are best to look elsewhere ? Randy
