What makes 2nd, 3rd.... trips at TTR better than the first?

This is so true!
Not to push the membership, but check in and out is a breeze. The room is always great. They already know my breakfast order and what time to bring it each morning. They know our requirements (extra towels, premium beer in fridge, restaurant resv, etc).
Most staff know your name and you know some of their 'stories', whereby they are more freinds than workers at the hotel.
As far as other guests, you get so that you know or at least have seen them before. You can't really put a huge emphasis on other guests, as time changes everything and some ppl stop returning. So each time, the guest faction is different. Trying to recapture previous good times is impossible die to dynamics, but the thrill of forging new memories with acquaintainces old and new is exciting each trip.
When you are a member, you get a sense of ownership and the whole resort feels like your own personal oasis.
Each visit you get a kick out of surveying the improvements and changes to your beloved mecca.

 

Halloween Whorrors week will be my 4X to TTR but first travelling solo. Usually travel with 3 or 4 of my buddies and I'm the least outgoing of the group. Figured coming back for solo trip wouldn't be to bad because I know going in that everyone here is looking to have a good time and you can just relax and be yourself. I think its that "adult spring break vibe" that keeps me coming back.

 

Laurie and I hit the lottery on our first trip last week. We made so many friends on this site b4 we hit the runway! After the check-in prelims, we hit the sexypool... and GAME on! We immediately saw one of our best Caresite buddies dancing topless next to the hot tub. OK now we've come HOME!! We began to spot our "new" friends and...... good times!

Day one was a trainwreck: 1st day curse and waaaayyyy too many shots! :banghead:

Day two was GREAT! :wink3: (and if that's not enuf, we spot Steve and Jannet on a short stay!! OMG good times!

Day three was AMAAAZING! :aktion033:

Day five we cried :icon_cry: on our way to the airport. We quickly began planning our next trip: Labor Day Weekend '13!!! :aktion069:

 

The first time we went we had no idea what to expect or what to do! It took a few days to get in the groove. We love making new friends and meeting ones we have meet their before.
You can let you inhibitions down and have fun like you have never had before.
When you go back you know how to book your restaurant dinners and how to get drinks and from where!!!
Like everybody has already said you are home away from home and the staff is always nice!
NOBODY KNOWS YOU AND NOBODY GIVES A SHIT!!!!! Take your top off and jump right in and have fun!!!

 

I have to say as well, 1st trip we arrived late afternoon (around 4pm) and didn't really know what to do. Wandered around the beach for about 20 minutes, then unpacked for about an hour, then sat around an empty Paty O twiddling thumbs.

This trip I'm dumping the bag in the room and heading straight for the pool! Arriving again around 4pm but I know now that there's still time to have a few beers at the swim up bar.
