I came here as my company changed our regional headquarters to Cancun. I had a very easy move here as my company paid for househunting trips, moved my goods here, took care of my fm-3 etc. With that in mind the transition was fairly difficult as I did not speak hardly any spanish, did not listen to advice about where to live etc. I quickly had lots of acquaintances but, very few friends. After about 9 months I was nearly ready to leave. Then I met the woman of my dreams and we stayed for over 3 more years. We recently left because of another change in career. Part of me will always be in Mexico as I left many good friends there that i miss.
