I am headed back to TTR for my 2nd trip this October. I had fun last year, but I missed out on most of the evening activities. I was usually passed out from too much sun and too much alcohol. My goal this year is to attend some of the evening events. What is your favorite event and why? I will make sure that I am sober and not hung over so I can go!! Man....those drinks are strong!
The Latin dancing was good in Nice Shoes on Wednesday night. My husband liked the sexy sightgown show on Thursday night. Not much for the ladies though... Have fun!!
My favorite is the "horizontal hokie pokie" but I am guessing you want resort sponsered events. We had fun at Casino night. My favorite though I think is the Friday night booze cruise that you can purchase tickets for at the towel hut. I think it was 40 bucks a person and well worth it. All you can drink and dinner at Carlos and Charlies. Dancing, body shots and other fun stuff! I have to say though I also missed quite a bit of night time activities either because I was too drunk from the day time or because we ate dinner later in the evening and ran into the start times of the shows so we missed them. Not "fun" persay but G and I enjoyed sitting on the chairs outside the deck of the asian restaurant and just enjoying each others company while looking out into the water. Usually it was pretty quiet out there and we could just sit there in peace. Other times we sat in the loungers on the beach and did the same.
Leave your inhibitions in your room on Saturday morning. Visit the pool bar for several shots then wander over to the tequila volleyball game in the pool. Just remember there is one thing special about Saturday volleyball.......
You may want to make that Friday morning, as they have done body shots and NTVB on Fridays when we have been there this year. What the hell, make it Saturday also Back to the question, the Thursday Casino night can be a blast if your better half is in for the gaming. The Saturday dancers are pretty good also. I would not pass up on the Men's or Women's legs contest if they have it while you are there. :flash:
Karaoke on Tuesday nights...although it got bumped and they had the dance troupe on while we were there in September because of some visiting reporters/dignitaries :evil: Mario has promised me that it will on when we go back in May...apparently he values his cojones :lol: :lol:
