Found out about alpharooms mistake and re-booked room for $241.99. $60/night
Flight from DC was $554

Alpharooms wants $782 for 5 nights. $156/night
Waiting on airtran to open up flights for that time period to get direct flight from Baltimore.

I have been running a spreadsheet for alpharoom prices from June to Sep. All prices have gone up about $20 since September, with the exception of the week I want to go has gone up $92.

 

Damn... that's a good deal guys.well done.we paid 2900 with everything. For ten days in April 15 th to 25 th strait flight from Chicago

 

Yes of course Hurricane season runs about 100 to 156 @ night ,, my comments were more aimed towards the rates for DEC,March and April,, some of which are running at 329 @ night.

 

We booked through expedia.ca last week and our total price is $3041. $217 pp/pn. Feb 3-10. We actually have to leave Saturday night from Vancouver to arrive Sunday late afternoon in Cancun. We fly through the night to Montreal then have a layover still. Overall, not bad.

 

Such a bummer there are no direct flights from the Pacific NW to Cancun, makes it a tough travel day! If Seattle ever gets a non-stop flight, I will post about it here, would be easier to connect in Seattle than flying to Montreal all night :xyxthumbs:

 

Flying from London UK 28th August - 11th September, Booked with Kenwood Travel and on a Virgin flight for 3 people in 2 rooms cost £1200 pp. Annual travel insurance policy with AA £71pp .... This will be my 5th trip :uk1:

 

$2610 w/ air and trip ins. from Rochester, NY for 10 days for 2 in April thru Orbitz!

$2500 w/air and trip ins, from pittsburgh. a direct flight with apple for 7 nights. yes a little pricey but if we met the kind of people, and have half the fun that we had back in September it will be worth every penny.
