As you can see, we have been hanging around this forum for quite some time. These debates that you mention are not new at all. Some of us who have been around for awhile, sit back and laugh about the topics. We have heard all the opinions. I think everyone is a little stir crazy and looking for topics to debate. Most of the people who bring up the old, tired topics are newbies. In their defense, they do not know without scrolling back and back..... 17 days until we arrive at our favorite resort where we save our chairs, flirt with single guys (I guess I do that not him), take pictures with our camera, do body shots on the bar, wear micro thong bikinis, drink too much, dance a lot and meet some of the most fun people in the world.
agreed - we are new to the site and I actually felt some anxiety after reading some of the back and forth esp about cameras and lounge chairs... kind of felt like I was a teenager and the cliques were fighting!
Sometimes some of the veterans throw stuff back and forth to each other in fun. People that don't know that we actually know each other, and were doing it in fun, can take it the wrong way (inside joke). Posts in the last few days have been extra filled with comedic sarcasm and fun to read. The only thing that bothers me is the people bitching about the bitching. JK
Jen, you have such a kind heart. You remind me of my Jen in that way. I think Donald's point is a good one. A lot gets lost in translation online and is not 100% serious. But I see your point nonetheless. I get 'irked' occasionally and I do the same thing each time to make myself feel better. I look thru our album and then go back and read one of our trip reports. That usually gets me all worked up. I then go make love to my beautiful wife and am happy again. Rinse and repeat daily lately. The more heated the debates get the more loving i get. What else you going to do this time of year? Oh yeah, a foot of snow is waiting for me to shovel outside right now. Quick someone start another thread about cameras/chairs/premier/singles. Uh oh, all already covered. We need a new controversy. Any ideas? The Buffet cruise debate maybe? I bet if I bring that topic back to the top of thread some people will get fired up. Hmmm. Maybe the snow shoveling can wait.
