I must defend Donald, he is quite knowledgeable about the resort, and even though he is not a member I consulted with him before we bought someones membership for his insight. I expect my beer whenever our paths cross :daveandmo:
Believe me Donald doesn't need anyone defending him... He most definitely can hold his own... :xyxthumbs:
and soooooo....those are the membership perks. Now, if one is booking "on referral" ie, a member booked us and I know he gets a certain amount of credits going towards his own trips...however, what is unclear to me is, as a person who has been booked in this manner, and who will sit through the 90 minute presentation, what's in it for me? anything? I know I supposedly got the "discount" on the rack rate but I booking through the travel agent I was quoted the same as my "discount: I apararently get a "member wrist band". are the benefits indicated above available to me for the week?
If you booked through your travel agent you get red Band , if you booked through a member , see post # 20
The member gets a fee for your sitting through the presentation. If you don't go they don't get paid. That might be your last referral if you don't as well. Members pay attention to who does or doesn't. That being said if you really don't want to go you should reimburse the member. I believe it's $250 though I could be wrong.
Yes the member gets a 250.00 credit, members only get so many Referrals a year to give out, so if you go please be kind enough to honor your commitment to the member who set up your referral, that way its a win win for both parties.
