......I would fly to Cancun......just for a burger at Johnny Rocket in the airport? Would I get some heat from customs/immigration? Like my FMM woudn't have a ''destination'' and a long time in Mexico except for being in the airport waiting for the flight back......about 1 hour. My GF is flying on saturday to CUN, and was wondering if I could just spend more time with her I know it sounds silly.....but just checking if someone would know.....
That's a long way to go for an overpriced and not particularly nice burger. But you wont have a problem. They don't really check your destination on your immigration card, just put any hotel. If push comes to shove just mention that you are accompanying your flight attendant girlfriend and leaving shortly. Flight Attendants and Pilots must do it all the time. As for customs, you'll have to go through as usual (to get to the departure terminal) but as long as you aren't carrying anything against the rules, then that wont be a problem either.
We talked about it last night, and it will be impossible since the flight will be leaving about an hour after reaching CUN......not leaving me enough time to pass immigration/customs.....run to departures and pass security and reach the gate in time..... It was just a crazy thing to do........I guess! lol But, we are planning some Cancun weekends over the winter, and we do plan on staying at Temptation! Can't wait to make new friends and see my dear old ones!
