Well what can I say? After reading all these posts (I`ll be a first timer by the way)should me and the Mrs still go or not ?
We were just there at same time as Lenny and Jodie and Kevin and Chris. . . .and like Lenny said, Johnny was serving until 5am at least, the two mornings we were up that late. And fries and burgers were available, however due to rain on 2 nights. the burgers and fries were inside the buffet and not at the usual area at Patyos. Therefore that may be why Kev and Chris thought there was no food late night. Cuz most ppl went into buffet and got food and stayed there to consume their food due to the wet conditions. But Johnny was def at the bar serving every night. As far as the resort slipping, we feel it is still the same old, great place! But each trip is different. Depends on the energy of the crowd. Some crowds are too cool for the room and as such, not wild and crazy. Some weeks have many newbies and are reserved. Sometimes ppl bring friends and family from home and are on guard for fear of recriminating tales told back home. And, as for lingerie night. It has always been a short night. But the night, Feb 28, that we were there last was especially short, due to the rain. That was because the fashion show, which normally is at Patyos, pre-casino, was moved to Nice Shoes, which cut into gambling time. As for the food issues. We NEVER go to the buffet. Margaritas for lunch and restuarants for dinner. (room service breaky). And our only comment is that the food is great for a 3 star, but the menus need a revamp, especially the Asian. But that may be just us. We go 4 times a winter so the entree choices become boring at times. But overall, we thonk TTR is still mecca and know that we would hate going somewhere else.
Absolutely. TTR is what you make of it. While people are complaining about some things... The amount of fun you will have will make you forget about ANY complaints you read about...
This isnt trip advisor, this website is the truth for several repeaters over the years and several repeater who go several times a year. If you dont go, you wont know what your missing. The place rocks, the people are the best, the staff are excellent, I have no issues with the place at all because it is my party and my vacation and I enjoy it as much as everyone will let me
This is more of a venting and fantasy post/thread. We are just talking about bad things and things we would like to see changed. All the people on here are repeaters , a lot (including me ) have returned to TTR over 6 times, so that s says a lot. So don't judge the resort by this thread. Well if your into pain... you have to go.. Pain... headache from hangovers, stomach and face ache from laughing so hard, skin hurts (somtimes) sun burn, feet from dancing so much.. oh and the worst the absolute worst it the pain of having to say good bye to the best people from all over the world. We might gripe about things at TTR we are all repeaters this I think will be our 10th time maybe more.. There is no place like it that I know, and not because of the resort its the people.
