Yes, everyone, they fucking closed the Paty O's bar at 2am every night we were there in January! None of the staff I asked spoke English well enough to understand me or answer my questions adequately about why they would do that? It was fucked up! You can still party all night, but with your own food and booze - not all-inclusive!
Yep...I second the closure of Paty-O's. Every night we were there (but was the same time frame). They also limited drinks. Several times a guy or two from our group would go up to order drinks for themselves, their s/o or wife, and maybe another couple or two. They would be handed part of the order and told the rest couldn't be made because it was too busy. WTF?? And, I'm sorry I'm all for tipping but your not getting a tip with service like that.
On the bright side, does this mean that the 2000 block rooms won't be as noisy into the wee hours of the morning?
The web site still says 24 hour food and drinks, which bar is open after 2? and where is the food. There were also a couple of nights with no food at Paty-O's and they seemed to close that little buffet of food items down very early as well. This was our first trip so I don't know if that is normal. But, there were a few nights that we were thirsty and hungry late
I would really hope not. Some people don't like beer or their very limited soda selection. Don't get me wrong, we loved TTR and will be back. But, the resort itself really isn't why.
Well this locks in the trip to Walmart then. I am going to have to have my own bar for late night. And I might as well add some viagra and ciales (sp?) based on that other post suggesting buying $10 pills at Walmart. First time for everything but if I end up walking around with a tent at the sexy pool the next day due to being one of those guys warned about in the commercials where Mr Happy wont go down for 24 hours then you know why. Hey nobody knows you and nobody gives a damn!
