Great feedback everybody! We've only been to TTR twice and we come with 3star expectations, that way never disappointed Hope the TTR owners/mgmt read the trip reports and forum strings... wonder if TripAdvisor is also getting all the latest too? newbies seem to go there first.. maybe more attention from mgmt on that site's comments? It is a four star based on ammenties, has no wheel chair access to top floors, elevator, or roomservice so it can't be a 5. Don't rethink your choice. We have done 16 trips with 17 coming up and love it there. Not everyone loves the food. We do and some rules tend to change during spring break that don't happen the rest of the year. Mostly because of large groups of single guys. There is a 24 hr pool but noone uses it or very few. That being said it's because the party is at Patyo's at night with dancing and partying there and the whole day is spent in the pool already. I guess you have to go there for yourself to see that you will be sick of being in the pool by 6o pm when it gets dark. Personally I like letting them clean the pools at night so it's fresh in the morning and I hardly think that other resorts will have a 24 hr pool. But I know what they do have KIDS and lots of them. It also has an enviroment that your not gonna get at any 5 star.
