I guess I would have to go with Mayhem becouse its my birthday and we have made so many life long friends at this time. Also we try to go in August as its Kelly's B-day (not sure what that group is called) but also met alot of great people. This will be our first time going for Halloween and will be our 17th visit in 8 yrs..:mnm:
Our holiday dates happen to hit week 8 feb, give or take some overlap on 7 or 9. We wanted to try something new, Leni who I am ever great-full to, took me under his wing, on the beach at 6am on my first day, gave me the tour, introduced me to so many people that I dont remember all their names! We have never tried any other week, but that does not mean we wont. For obvious reasons our go to week will be the 8th
pheww I run a busy tourist bar in ibiza so I work the med summer season 1st april to 1st november.. so my vacations in mexico are limited to the winter monthes.. I think i first went to cancun in 95. and found this resort in 1998 it was then the blue bay getaway.. for 5 years i went every year for 3 weeks , last week of feb and first 2 weeks of march.. to celebrate my birthday xx. met some great people.. in 2002 I met Steve and Janet, on one of their famous bar crawls,they adopted me... and I joined this site.. for around 3 years i added a 2nd trip annually end of november.. and met jessie(zurc) and the chaos crewe was born, they bacame my family.. now I go for 2 or 3 weeks end of novemebr into december.. I still occasionally go for my birthday, but the prices now for march are extreemly high for me as a single.:icon_lol:. I have been on every one of steves booze cruise/boob since they started.. whilst on my vacation, and it is definately the highlight of every trip.. Temptations is the only place in the world I want to be on vacation, its home for me, its special because of the staff , the great vibe and mostly for all the friends I have made there over the years xx
I always go end of April and during Mayhem. Started going then for one week and now I go for 3 weeks since over the years meet so many great people during that I had to keep extending the time to see everyone year after year. There is a great group of people there and just like Keith I go single also and everyone is so welcoming. Even though I am sure every month accepts singles as long as they are respectful. Went last year for first time for halloween and had a blast with everyone so going again this year Rob
April Addicts are a great group been 2 times, but with the prices/kids for this april might have too try the june junkies. but it doesn't matter when you go thiers always great ppl to party with.
While we don't have a particular "group" we go with, we always go the 10-14 days before the week of Thanksgiving. We usually leave around the middle of the month then land the Sat or Sun before Thanksgiving. The short work week followed by the extra long holiday make it almost seem like 2 vacations for the price of one! Not only that, but no one is really working the week of Thanksgiving so coming back to work and catching up is much easier!!
Octoberbreast was insane because of the people. And the weather was great. Hot and sunny. Understand though that there is that storm risk in October. We also loved end of April / early May. Resort was packed and again the weather was great. Although the people were nice when we went week 8 the weather stunk. We liked it hot and the weather does effect the party in the pool. The water was cold for us. We understand that to others from the great white north it wasnt cold but to us it didnt cut it. We are going to try 1st or 2nd week in May next time and hopefully see the May group is just as fun as Octoberbreast. Although it does seem like they are spread out a little. Hopefully we can find the right time.
Never been with any group but usually always go between Nov and Feb due to our work! Enjoy meeting different people from all over and having fun! Sure this year will be no different! 51 days to go!!!
