Yes, you have to worry about doing the time-shore exploration to get to give back to the person who gave you that referral week.... but... If a real friend (it's what we do for our people) get the referral week from someone ultra-cool and awesomely stupendously giving (that'd be me & Staciatastic), then we don't give a shit if we get the credit, we're after you having a good time. I told them as much when we got our membership. "Look, Luis... Stacia is a helluva lot better salesperson for the membership for you guys on the 3rd trip or so our friends take with us, or without, down here. Hitting newbies up - when they've really no clue at all how fun TTR can be is a much less efficient way to capture memersip." But, he doesn't need to listen to me. The listing above seems spot-on with what you get with the white bracelet, and it's that last thing, "Lots of little touches/things" that really makes the difference. Also, that premium list changes from trip to trip, and I think it's based on what was marked down wholesale, maybe.
seriously if I need to sit my ass there I'll just fall asleep! grrr!! I did it last year ( sitting there ) I think I'll just tell them. I don't have any intention to buy a timeshare right now, so please make it quick! Envoyé de mon iPhone à l'aide de Tapatalk
Just a quick reminder guys, it's fine to ask questions about referral weeks, but no buying and selling via cancuncare please. That includes hints you want to buy or sell and the PM system.
Separate area for check in & out so you don't have to deal with the front desk and lines. The bellman will take you there if you are a member, its to the right of the main lobby past the bathrooms as you walk through the entrance.
We were told $168 per night recently?? Can anyone explain why there would be different prices quoted?
because of contract and negociation !! each one is different Envoyé de mon iPhone à l'aide de Tapatalk
Likely going to sound like an idiot, but I'm going to ask anyway - is there any financial benefit to using a referral week? We've been twice as 'regular' guests. Sat through the presentation for about 10 minutes and were honest and simply told them we were not interested and we left. Avoided it the second time as well, and still have no interest in becoming members. That being said, we know people that are members and have mentioned referral weeks. The list above of what you get is great - the rooms and the wifi being the big things for us. If using a referral week I'm assuming that you book your flight separately and then deal with the member that has the weeks? And then you need to find out what their nightly rate is, correct? Like I said, trying to understand this and appreciate any info!
