Actually, Mr's parents are both losing their minds and going through a divorce/not-really-a-divorce/just-a-cry-for-attention, so even if we told them, they wouldn't remember the next day. Mrs's folks would probably freak out a wee bit, but since we keep corrupting their lives with our crazy shit (and they secretly love it)...they wouldn't think twice as long as we told them everyone would be responsible and adult in their behavior. Hahahahaha, etc.
We are keeping the name on the down low. My dad is a pastor and mom teaches for a Christian school. The last thing they need to know anything about is our chosen lifestyle! Jut saying cancun all inclusive will be good enough as we have been to cancun several times. Just better for everyone to save them some heartache. As for friends, I think most of them know exactly where we are going and I'm not shy about it at all! A lot of them actually seem jealous so maybe some day we will be bringing a crowd Donna
I don't tell my family. Not because I'm ashamed of TTR - but because I keep telling them I don't have money to fly across the country to visit them...yet I magically end up with enough money to fly across the country and go to a resort. I don't need the drama.
Right there with ya Glen. We know why we go, the great people. no kids and non-stop party. Their loss i say if it's not for them.
Oh my that made me giggle. We had only been back from our first cruise a few days when the first Costo ship wrecked. Our oldest said he was not getting on a ship again.... Now a second Costo ship having trouble??? Yep, I will take my chances in Mexico!! hahaa
Way back in Sept. when we chose Temptations I made the mistake of telling a co-worker who blurted "THAT'S A SWINGERS RESORT." Thankfully no one heard him and since then I have been skirting the question. Lately though I have been asked where so many times that me saying, "I'm not sure, my husband did it all using our time share trade" is not flying any longer. Because of where I work and the gossip mill that it is and fear of losing my job, I have decided to tell people we are going to The Royal in Cancun and leave it at that. It is my vacation and deserve to have too much fun without the stress of co-workers judging!!!
Mostly political BS. However lots of school systems are now implementing "Social Media Policy". Recently a local board of education asked a teacher to resign (basically fired her) after a parent found/saw her in a picture on facebook.........get this.......drinking a beer. You heard that right, was fired for having a picture on facebook of her holding a beer bottle. And honestly that's my biggest fear about a trip to Temptation, when we go unfortunately we will have to try our best to not be photographed. If a topless pic of the wife ends up on the internet and someone from her school system sees it, she'd be fired on the spot.
