What do you do when not everyone in your group wants to get naked/sexy?

Fuuny, I have been thinking this same exact thing for the past 2 months. I have been doing so much Freddie's and Vic Sec shopping, its ridiculous. It's out first time and being that I dont know what will make me seem like the "odd ball prude". I didnt know what to get. I have a closet FULL of cute tops and skirt and have bought a ton of swimsuits. So thank you soooo much for posting this. My debit card can finally rest...LOL

 

It makes me feel better too. I love having fun and don't get offended easily (or at all, really) but I am not a 'walk around naked with nothing but a mesh body stocking' kind of person. And my tata's have never seen the sun or even a sun bed, so they will stay tucked away for this trip (until naked tequila volleyball, that is). I was worried I would look like a prude in my cute 'nighty' and itty bitty bikini but this has made me feel SO much better. Now...who is my husband going to be happy to see? The 'walk around naked with nothing but a mesh body stocking' girl and the sun-kissed tata's, for sure.

I can't wait to get there.

 

What I've seen at the resort on several trips over the last 2 years, is that the majority of the women are not wearing the sexed up costumes described by some. On lingerie/casino night, some will come into PatyO bar wearing their lingerie. But for the most part, the outfits are casual going out for dinner clothing you might see anywhere at home.
At the pool, there will be probably half topless, it seems. And some thongs & floss.
So, don't worry about your clothing choices and just have a great time! I'd worry more about wearing sandals that are not going to slip on slippery surfaces!artytime:

 

I am SO HAPPY that there are more of you on the same page as me! Trust me, I am all for flashing a bit of skin here or there in, for example, a deep V-neck top, but throwing on pasties and chilling by a bar with my 32 year old “twins” laying on the bar is just not my style! LOL!
I just thought I would throw my thoughts out there because I didn’t want to stress out about anything while on vacation! We are very fortunate to have the means to go on such a fun vacation, so I want to make sure we have the BEST TIME EVER! How about this, I will make up for the lack of nudity with my singing, dancing & card playing skills? Also, our group is a big fan of “Flippy Cup” and well, enough alcohol will make anyone funny! Hee hee!

Great thread! I am so relieved after reading this! Dressing up in skimpy items is fun at home but I've been a little apprehensive about having to do so in front of a bunch of strangers. Glad to know that not everyone at the resort is an exhibitionist.

 

I'm a bit shy myself but at the same time I'll be on vacation so who knows what'll happen. Although it's a safe bet that I won't be walking around naked, lol.

 

We have been to TTR manytimes. Our "group" is somewhat large, and many of the women have never gone topless. On the other hand some that I believed would never, in fact did. It is about 50/50 in the pool normally. It really depends on the "attitude" that day. Most clothes worn at the resort at night are far from mesh/see though items. A lot of people dress up to dine. Casino night is a little different.

We went in May when all the theme nights were happening. Although it was fun to dress up it added alot of expense to our trip. I now have some outfits but that being said I liked it after all the theme nights were done too and I could wear my own sexy clothes. I think I would rather just go and have fun and wear my own stuff as well.
If there happens to be some theme nights when we go then I might dress up if I have the outfit but if it's gonna cost me more money..........I won't. You will never feel out of place at TTR being yourself and you should go with the intentions of being yourself and wearing what you want.
