Ouch.. CPM... I haven't heard that language discussed in.... I don't want to make you feel old enough to say a date. But if it makes you feel better, we still use PLC's as well, and also do work with TurboPascal on our older stuff...
Yeah, but they don't all look like you, more's the pity... :daisy: P.S I actually broke that analyser today - true!:icon_eek:
Controller for a teleconferencing company ~ I also compose film scores and shoot landscape/concert photography.
I dabble in a bit of everything. Currently I'm a FT mommy, FT college student (Spanish Education major), a Zumba Instructor, and I own my own T-shirt company ( Sliced Tees by ChiChi on Facebook)..... but I'm also an EMT, a figure skating coach, a cheer coach, and a photographer. lol. What can I say..... I get bored easily!
Joanne owner operator of commercial cleaning co. Darrell just a dirty old truck driver.(or a product relocator)
Turbo Pascal (by Boland), wow that does bring back memories !!! When I attended Ga Tech, there were these two really old Professors (one was digital, the other analog), they actually got into a fist fight over their different views. For all of you "young" folks, CPM was the language used by a company called Digital Research . When IBM was looking for an operating System for their PC in 1980, this company's CEO pretended to go fishing and missed the appointed meeting. IBM when up North and met a guy named Bill Gates with a little company called "microsoft" !!! I guess the rest is history !! Talk about a F*** up !! Dikfore !! I think you are referring to PLC as in Programmable Logic Controller!! Back in the 70s we called them PCs (for Programmable controller). IBM came out wiht its Personal Computer (also a PC) in the 80s and so we had to change to PLC !!! Yep we are pretty old, BUT !!! Katie still looks GOOD in a bikini !!! AH , toppless women and 8080 processors !!! my favorite subjects !!! Okay, the Z80 was my favorite @!!!
