A lot of men wear silk boxers while some go a little more extreme. I was told by more than one person about guy wearing only a crown royal bag but not real sure. FYI, Joe boxers has some neat boxers that should not raise any alarms for him.
last time I went i wore a silk robe (looked like a smokers jacket) and silk boxers. seemed to go over well.
Boxers are the garment of choice, but I've seen everything from tightie whities to one fellow wearing just a bandana. He'd told me earlier that he didn't bring any underwear.

I think you have an idea for Lingerie night. For the sexy pool most men wear board shorts, but some wear something like tight fighting boxers (not sure the proper name). My wife always says shes going to get me a pair, but it hasn't happend yet. I have seen a few guys walk around in the banana hammock or thong. Make sure you pack a few nice pairs of pants and shirts for dinner. Nothing too fancy - khakis and a polo or button up shirt are perferct for the dinner places that take reservations.

It ranged. Most of the guys were wearing boxers of some sort or another. While others were in boxer briefs. And the odd guy in really small little speedo type deals. There was also a fair number of guys in full-length pajama bottoms. On our second visit, I tried to wear swim trunks (fairly short ones), but got blocked at the door. I muscled my way in -- since my wife had just disappeared inside wearing practically nothing -- but this year I think I'll try boxer briefs.
boxers or briefs are fine but really anything goes if your comfortable in it, in december one guy was wearing a Borat outfit same colour too green. LOL
