Most Soldiers spend the entire nine weeks being yelled and cuss out. When they process out and phase from one TRADOC station to another, they are refer to as “highly motivated American fighting Soldier”. In other terms “High Speed.” I think it is a way of making them feel good about themselves and the uniform that they wear, especially after going through nine weeks of Basic Training. Most would say its nine weeks of hell; I would shorten it to four weeks. Calling another Soldier or anyone in fact, “High Speed” is never to insult another person. If I wanted to insult you, I would tell you to put the doughnuts down fatty.
