Tops on at Patty O's? REALLY? Shart! Really? so it's ok to be topless all day but when the sun goes down the ladies have to cover up?
How come most people who suggest changes haven't even been there before. There's many threads like this on the board and it's always the same. With regards to changers like a warmer pool, a heated hot tub, no resturant reservations and longer pool hours 100% of the people who go to TTR can benifit from those changes but the c/o area will never happen.There'splenty of resorts that offer that and 90% of the people who go to TTR wouldn't want it,they would lose so much business. On that topic tho there have been talks of turning TTR los cabos back to a Desire style hotel so that would be c/o. Could suit those of you who are used to walking round naked.
Patty O's is great but it would be a good change of pace to have a nite time beach or pool party (heated jacuzzi and pool would be nice for that) once a week. I can't imagine that there wouldn't be some skinny dipping. The fact that I can only come up with one thing is pretty amazing.
Les....in Cabo you can't even be topless on the beaches.......so Desire there was bound to fail..........and in Cancun TTR's sister resort is often sold out.......because it's c/o. I'd not suggest that TTR be totally c/o.......but a "side" be..... like at Hedo II. I think it would work....
Um if I remember correctly it was more the hi-rise that was built next to the resort in cabo that triggered the change from Desire. I may be wrong but I am sure that if that was the case it would have a huge impact on the change. I agree, you don't know until you try someplace. How would you know what works and what doesn't work for you until you experience it. BBG/TTR is great the way it is, I could see some changes but it also works for alot of people that go and have a blast. We have run into some who had a horrible experience, those people didn't have a clue where they were going and were out of place or didn't fit in. There are some people that visit TTR and want it to be more then what it is, they usually don't have the fun they could if they were to have gone to something more for them. If you want C/O go to a C/O resort, if you want to have a blast with other adults that are there for the same go or try TTR. Everytime we go we meet people that it was their 1st trip (and they say they will be back, or some say they will never come back) or repeaters like ourselves.

Check the info on the los Cabo page, they are still thinking about changing it back which would suit a lot of people. According to what people are saying they are only having an average of 40% occupancy so they have to do something. I do see how the quiet pool at TTR cancun could be c/o, it's away from the resturants and even though there's rooms over there you don't have to walk past the pool.Just an idea
we have enjoyed all of our trips there and if we wanted to find something to be critical of - about the only thing that we can find (its not so much a criticism as it is an observation that does not seem to make any sense whatsoever) the area where patty o's is now used to be called margaritas and management would let you know in a heart beat if you were being too loud (the area is like and atrium and the sound carries forever) so we figured when they built the new nice shoes that all nightly activity would be in there - NOT THE CASE almost every night and all night at that they play music, do shows and what not at patty o's instead of using the night club just makes no practical sense whatsoever you have a night club for shows and music - so - use that and let patty o's be the hang out quiet bar rob
Quit with the c/o pleas at TTR. If it goes c/o I can't go anymore. Period! You can go to Hedo, Desire or any number of places.. All I have is TTR! A "side" really won't work either because 1/3 of the rooms, including all the jacuzzi rooms, surround that pool with 2 of the 4 specialty restaurants. And you know that unless you had a guard at every entrance someone would have to push the limits and try walking through the rest of the hotel naked. If Desire is always sold out tell them to expand. Don't remove options for me cause you don't plan ahead or are too cheap to pay the going rate at other places. Why does everyone always insist on taking something that is good and unique and changing to be like everywhere else? TTR is what it is. If that is what you want, please come. If it is not, I sorry we won't see you there. Jamie
