I was intending on going, and really pumped about it...But it looks like I wont be able to go now cos of work, So were planning a trip to Thailand in April instead now. Reason Being that end of March we all get made redundant and get a phat pay off and so we go on holiday and blow all our dosh!
Can't get any weirder than having to go to Canada really....Honestly though nothing wrong with travelling to new places! I would travel the whole world if I could!
My friend went to Thailand for a month only goot back a week or so ago he loved it.... you can venture to Cambodia where he paid to use ak47s pistols, throw grenades into lakes and watch them blow and also for like £100 you can fire a rocket launcher at a cow hahaha

Thailand is one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world. I went 7 years ago for 12 days. The coasts have some of the nicest beaches in the world, Bangkok has a great nightlife... and everything is pretty cheap, or was. Google it, look for beach pics from the different coastal cities.
Well I am just saying that I don't think the avergae Canadian would pick that.... I find Brits tend to venture into to more unknown and foreign places...
I certainly think the Brits are generally more open to the not so beaten tracks of the world but as waste said Thailand is a major tourist hub
Yes, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, etc are all quite popular destinations. I'm sure Canadians go there just as much as anyone. If you live where it's cold, you go where the beach is.
I went to Thailand when I was 12 with my dad. We went to Bangkok and Phuket Island. Didn't really go out and party but I do remember there were really pretty beaches.
