I'm similar. I do one of the flavored vodkas (not UV that has sugar) with club soda and then just a splash of liqueur to sweeten it.
I try and drink as healthfully as possible (the majority of the time) while there. So for me this daily routine includes: My version of a bloody mary, which is v8 with citrus vodka and tobasco (you know I like it Spicy, right? I like it spicy but not salty...) Unfortunately they only have V8 in the rooms. So I bring citrus vodka back to the room and borrow a bottle of tobasco for the week. If I don't have vodka in the room I bring the can of v8 to the bar. But now that you say they have horseradish (which bars have that please?) I'd rather have that than tobasco so I'm gonna switch it up. Thanks for the tip. my version of a drunken monkey or mudslide which will have extra banana (I bring one out from the buffet, it's the easiest/only way to get a whole banana in there) and mix with vanilla vodka, club soda and something to sweeten it (coconut rum and/or bailey's and/or amaretto and/or coffee liqueur) A frozen drink with Sky and green juice and fresh fruits that I again I bring out from Embarcaderio. With lunch a shot of flavored vodka in my "throat coat" hot tea. I bring the throat coat tea packets from home... 1 glass of wed wine with dinner Until last trip I had tried to mostly swear off shots. But they make the drinks so strong and there is so much liquor in those Temptation mugs that last time I decided I actually drank less alcohol by doing a couple of more shots and refilling the mug less...
To answer the question of whomever asked, caipirinha is a Brazilian drink made with pinga, a Brazilian light liquor very strong, probably most similar to 151 Rum in the US or 100 proof vodka. I drank these when I was an exchange student in Brasil. They crushed limes and mixed the pinga with sugar. So very strong yet very sweet and went down way too easy. I imagine at TTR it's rum with sugar and lime? Dunno but gonna find out! I believe usually it's 2 litres per person coming into the US unless it's an American product/bought in a US territory, then it's 5, which is why peeps like bringing back a lot from St. Thomas... Going into other countries, such as Mexico, I'm sure they have a limit, but prolly much, much higher than the US. I wanna try this! Who's gonna coach me through it? Scuba? Parrot? I'd be HAPPY to bring you some as well. Anything to help out a Brit!! :uk1: Of course!

We both recommend a good wet pussy for any occasion! Tramp also enjoys Vodka, ice ans a double twist. Lady enjoys vodka, fresca, and a twist
I really like the Funky Monkey which they make with a fresh banana so it's healthy, right? 1 oz rum 1 oz creme de bananes 5/8 oz dark creme de cacao 3 oz coconut milk 1 banana I can't drink many of these as they're quite rich but a nice mid afternoon change to beer
I've never seen a bartender at TTR......or any place really measure ingredients......every drink is a bit different which I love! When I mix them at home they are never as good!
