I think this question should be reworded. It might be better if it asks, "What is too young?" And there are many ways that we've seen that all too often with the disrespectful, judgmental, "cliquey" crowd. They don't even like each other, much less anyone older. Some of the best couples we've met have been far older than us, and we truly enjoy their company. And there was one single, very "well seasoned" gent of at least 80 last year that is truly inspirational in his zest for life and how he embraces the TTR spirit. I wish I remembered his name, but I will never forget him browsing the pool side wearing a hat that proudly stated "I love beer and titties" and his shirt said "I'm here to fuck shit up." After sharing a beer with him I was quite certain I had just met Chino's grandfather.
I was in the pole dancing contest along with Henry back in November b He has a wonderful outlook on life. And yes, he was the winner for the men.
Unfortunately, I haven't been since the remodel, so I'm hoping that their new emphasis on attracting a younger, hipper clientele doesn't change the vibe. I am very nervous about that....
Our very first time at then Blue Bay Getaway, now Temptation, there was an older man from Scotland there who was one of the coolest people to party with I've ever met. It was he that took the very first topless pic of Stacia at the Sexy Pool during that trip. I ended up asking him as he was obviously 70+ and he said he was 81. He had brought his secretary/assistant... or perhaps I should write suckretary/ASSistant, with him, who was 32 and cute, and they did all the gaames together and had a blast. Bodyshots on folks, the old version of the Mr. Temptation (he won), all of it. Did more than me, I'll admit. So, the lesson from that, for me at least, is that the saying about age just being a number is right, it's "getting old" that's in the mind. Get it out of your mind, because the mind don't matter. If you still enjoy getting a bit crazy, having a great time, enjoy the tomfoolery and enjoy a few shenanigans, then TTR is still the place for you. But... if you don't actually enjoy that stuff, you may be too old for TTR. Note, the above conclusion "can" apply to people in their 20s, so be careful with it!
In our opinion (after 5 trips since opening day) the clientele is definitely changing, fewer repeaters are showing up for various annual weeks now, and the vibe is different. Even when a big iconic group (I.e. HnH,Week 8, April Addicts) is present, the vibe is kinda opaque.
@Stacia_and_John So that would be approx 11 yrs ago. When he was 81. Ever seen him again? Is he still going to TTR at 92?
I want to die in this place when I am so old, motorboating with some young women. That is the way to go...
If i die at TTR my last wish is everyone strip me naked and lie me on the edge of the jacuzzi. That will sure shock security when they tap me on the shoulder to get me to put clothes on and leave at 7
