We have been to TTR 22 different times and have had rain for a total of like 22 hours total. I would not be concerned about the rain at all. The showers usually last about 5-10 minutes and actually feel very good. Under the swim up bar is a good place to wait one out if it last a little longer than expected.

We were on one of Steve's Boobs Cruise's a couple of years ago, and it poured while we were on the Isla. A couple of drinks and an hour later the sun was back out, and we were back on the boat heading to Cancun.

Q: What do you do when it rains at TTR?

A: Get plastered at the bar, then head to your room for channel 12 and sex.

    it's reeeeeeeeally simple. :)

We had 2 1/2 solid days of rain--and even channel 12 started to lose some of its appeal (anyone notice they repeat films if you watch long enough???)

We spent a lot of time drinking at the sexy pool bar, ate a ton more than we should, went to Market 28...

But the other posters are right--it usually rains once a day for a very brief period. Ours was some weird tropical depression.

But next time...rain or shine...we're playing Jeff and Jill's remote game!:aktion031:

We had the same 2 April's ago, enough to flood out some of the "Party" rooms. This past April made up for it tho w/ 90 Degree F. temps and sunny every day!!
We actually could have used a quick cooling shower on occassion! :lighting1:

We sat in the pool in 2009 when the tail end of a hurricane went past :)
