Glad you liked it Captain Uh oh, more people coming over to the dark side I like to believe most people who go to TTR have an open mind and will understand your points and value your opinions. As with anything, what might be great for someone, might not for another. I think it is important to realize that before most of us went to TTR we thought it might not be for us, might be too over the top, were nervous about it, etc. Then we fell in love w TTR. Things change for whatever reason... interests, quality of the resort, etc. and it is ok to try something new. Keep an open mind and you might find that new love, like Captain did! I dream of a day where Desire equals TTR on the party front so we can have the best of both worlds... party and luxury, and with each trip we realize that dream is getting closer and closer to reality. And the more of the great TTR party people that join us the better and better Desire gets
Oh and captain. I know you mentioned you are already trying to decide when to go back. And the key sounds like combining the luxury with the great party. We think alike Although this is Pearl and not RM, this is when we are going back... https://desirousparty.com/Aug-9-201...-Puerto-Morelos__635850910256406327_event.htm Join the party! Sounds like it will be the perfect combo of luxury and fun
So I hear. May and November do not work for us so going to try August this year Going to be difficult only doing one trip in 2016 Still have hopes for October too but that depends on the Mrs.
You will notice quite a difference in the vibe(to the good) of a group week vs non group weeks, just a matter of finding the right group(s) that you both click with. :icon_wink:
We were there the same days as the Captain. We still love TTR but Desire RM was unbelievable, for all the reasons he's already mentioned. I will add that the beds at DRM have these awesome cushion-back things and pillows and you can literally sit there for hours (as opposed to the flat mattress beds at TTR with no back support/pillows). DRM had the party but also had relaxation factor for those of us who need daytime recovery--well, in the morning, at least. As a self-pronounced foodie, I was surprised by the quality of food at DRM. Impressive. Kyle, we are sold. We will still go to TTR, but DRM may become our longer trip. Would love to join you in August, but alas, I will die of heatstroke. --J
We really missed you guys after you left, TTR just wasn't quite the same without the whole gang there. I think the party can happen wherever you want when you bring it with you. And now Cap'n, it's up to you to convince M for next year!
Glad to hear we are not alone! I'll add that DRM solves one of the great issues I have with TTR, which is, what to do with the "dead time" (the time between the end of the sexy pool party and the start of the evening party). At DRM, this time is spent in the jacuzzi. Doing what? Whatever you want. It's awesome.
