Wedding hotel advice

Thanks guys I like the golden idea. Steve recommended the great Parnassus too for family

 

We have stayed at the Gran Porto Real and can highly recommend it, fabulous beach, walking distance to shops bars and the ferry to Cozumel. The rooms were HUGE

 

We got married at Moon Palace and it was phenomnal!!! Took the entire family (all ages) and everyone had the time of their lives. (We packed the kids home with the grandparents, and stayed an extra seven days at Desire!!!)

We have some details (if you're interested) on the nightmarish paperwork involved in an overseas wedding. We'd be happy to share.

It was not too expensive 5 years ago. Five people all inclusive for $9,000. It was 10 times nicer than their other two resorts......

My daughter got married at Playacar Palace in Playa Del Carmen. The resort did a great job. Beach was perfect. Very few waves and no Vendors at all.

If you're open to playa del Carmen, Grand occidental Xcaret was really nice. Great family resort.
