Today there is a stiff breeze and it's a little overcast with only patches of blue sky. Still warm and bright though, current temp at 1:20pm local time is 89F
Crossing our fingers! I was there for two weeks June 04 and it rained for a week straight. Flooding in the streets, not fun when you are trying to get some sun and party. Hopeful that we will see nothing like that this time.
I've been there during weeks like that.... I definitely found out what Cancun had to offer beside the beach and pool. Karan
An hour or two after my last weather update yesterday we had a very heavy rainshower. It was one of those typical days when the weather forecasts show rain (and most people expect like home it will rain all day) - well it rained very heavily for an hour and then it was blue skies and hot. Today no rain, clear blue skies and temps just touching 90F. Right now at 10:08pm local time it's 85F. I could see some lightning in the far distance tonight, it was spectacular as it was so far away the lightning only lit up a small portion of the sky and there was no thunder to be heard. Dont forget you can see the sky on my friends webcam which updates every 10 minutes during daylight hours only. It's not the best webcam in the world but we are working on it. Bright and sunny early morning, became a little overcast but then cleared by about noon. Absolutely no wind at all making it feel very hot. Max temp today 92F, just starting to get dark now at 6:40pm and its 88F. My friday night out is calling
Saturday was very hot again, temps got up to 93F, sunny blue skies again the air was very still and humid. We had a heavy rain shower about 4-5am this morning, but now its back to blue skies with a few wispy white clouds, wind has picked up a little but its more refreshing than annnoying. Current Temp at 11:35am is 88F
Hot and sunny again today. A couple of clouds in the sky, including a big black one that caused 2 minutes of rain and gave us precisely enough to bring the clothes in that were drying before it stopped and we hung them out again. :lol: Temp right now at 10:36am is 87.4F
gorgeous!! Its a steamy 64 degrees here right now, looking at a high of 69 by 3pm! Wow, aren't we lucky!! In a few months it will be 20 and snowing out side!! Thats when I will be crying about not being in cancun!! Lucky you!
We had a fair few rain showers on Wednesday afternoon not long after my last update. Thursday, after starting a bit murky was a nice day, plenty of sunshine in the afternoon and a little cooler than previous - mid eighties instead of high eighties. Over the last few days the night time temperature has dropped a little compared to previous weeks - it's finally got below 80 at night with a minimum temp of 77F. Today, is a nice bright clear day again with a gentle breeze. Temp right now at 11:50am is 86F.
