Ana, we are leaving saturday for the entire week there....how is the outlook there for the week (as u know the weather sites arent very accurate). I am trying to get a personal thoguht from someone down there. thanks
I do not think weather will be a problem next week, no new tropical formations neither advices. July is not a rainy month so worry about the heat.
Another great day, sun is shinning, sky is bue and clear, ocean is very smooth and firndly and temp is 93° at the shadow. No wind at all.
A weird Sunday; Morning was sunny and warm, then around 8:45 a storm with cold wind and heavy rain strike us for 20 minutes, then again sun, blue sky and warm weather plus high humidity. 4 hours later another hevy shower and this time the clouds and rain remain here for the afternoon.
A new Tropical Depression has formed South of Cancun this afternoon. While the heart of the storm will remain to the South of Cancun, some heavy rain is possible tonight and perhaps early Monday. Come Monday afternoon, the storm should move out into the Gulf of Mexico, and quieter weather will set back in for Tuesday and beyond.
It has been rainning since 9 PM yesterday and it has increase this morning, sky is completely cover of clouds and fog and winds blowing strong from different directions strike us for minutes and then stop. I am listening to the local radio and they are giving warnings of a lot of streets flooded on the city.
July weather Hello, I am arriving in cancun on saturday the 9th. I have been checking the weather from Canada and all I have been seeing for the last 3 weeks is rain rain and T-Storms. Can someone tell me if it is that bad right now or can I expect some sun in the next 3 weeks. Thanks!
We have had a fair bit of rain in the last few weeks but we've also had plenty of sun too. Right now the weather is not good, overcast with intermittent heavy showers. Bad weather normally lasts only a few days at a time and then it gets back to being hot and sunny. You just never know though when the next depression will form and bring more bad weather though. I am sure we'll see the sun in a day or two and rest assured there are far more sunny days here than rainy ones.
The sun is out, still some white clouds covering parts of the sky but no sign of rain or wind for today, hopefully :wink:
