The ocean looks today more blue and bright that in the past days, a soft refreshing wind is blowing from the north taking away the humidity and sticky sensation and the sun is shinning. Temp is 90° at the shadow and the sky is clear execpt for some cotton clouds hanging above Isla Mujeres.

Oh my gosh! that storm Wednesday night was unbelievable! i thought Tuesday nights storm was bad... until Wednesday!
however, it did help take away that unbearable humidity!!! and the last two days of my trip were wonderful! Friday had to be the absolute perfect weather day...

I found, however, that if you went from one end of the hotel zone to the other, on the other nights, that you could get totally different weather! we left Senor Frogs, there was no rain, but by the time we hit the Mayan... downpour!! we contemplated paying a taxi 60 pesos just to drive us up that hill!!!!!!
(didnt have to... the free shuttle stops at Captain's Cove, so... we got on that! :))

for those who are coming from the northern states of the US... just be prepared for humidity and heat you are probably only accustomed to having from early to mid-July until mid-August!

    Hey guys.

Part of a group of 6 18-19 year old guys coming down on a senior trip. Staying at El Pueblito from the 9th to the 15th.

Weather.com says T-Showers all week. Can you give us anything to expect because we're all down about what the weather is looking like.

When it rains is it just for a short period of time or an all day thing like we get here in Indiana.

    THanks!

After a clear morning, bad weather arrive at noon with black clouds closing the sky and a lot of rain, wind blowing from the NE and warm temp 89°.

All this bad weather is beacuse of Tropical Storm Arlene that has not decide yet if it is going up to Cuba or will keep his ENE movement and pay us a quick visit. You can up date Arlene information here:

Arlene does NOT pose a threat to Cancun. She will pass over Cuba tonight and into the Gulf of Mexico by Friday. Things should start improving in Cancun in the next day or so.
