After yesterday showers the morning bring us clear sky with a beautifull sunrise, very high humidity and calm ocean. We have no wind at all temp is 98° at the shadow in front of the ocean but with the humidity factor plus the missing wind it feels like 130°. Great weather for people in vacaions trying to get a tan, do sport waters or just relax in the pool.
June *th I am arriving on June 8th and it says rain every day.. I'll cry lol. Is it like 8 minutes of rain and then all day sunshine or is there a chance of cloudy days?? boo hoo thx
Ana is our weather expert. But, my experience has been rain is always predicted there but this time of year you will probably only see short showers. I mean they can last literally less than a minute. James
Re: June *th Do not trust them, as for today they forcast showers and thunder showers and I am looking at the ocean from my window and there is not even 1 cloud at this time, no wind, no rain and no thunderstorm.
But three hours later..... we are in the middle of a big thunderstorm with torrential rain. May not last long though. I agree that the rain forecasts for Cancun can be very disconcerting but will back up what people say. It can rain for 10 minutes and be classed as a rainy day. It can rain downtown and be completely clear a mile or two away in the Hotel Zone. True story - the other day it was raining, just very lightly, at the back of our house - I looked up and there were clear blue skies - I thought it must have been the air con but it wasnt. I went to the front of the house and it was completely dry. Thats how weird the weather can get here.
Agree 100% with STEVE After admiring a great red clear sun-set now it is rainning very strong (as most of the time at night or very early at morning) And thunder lights are giving a free light show at the ocean not to be miss.
After yesterdays thunderstorm there has been no rain today. A little cloudy and much less humid than previous days - temps up to 90F and right now at just after 9pm it's 82F.
