babysky, Do a search for sea lice. It is definitely something you need to be aware of. Also, click on the link below for Sea Safe. So sea lice is out at the top calm part of the 7 already? I am going to the Riu Cancun in 10 days and certainly didn't want to hear that

Hi Guy, I didn't get any stings at the Moon, only at Cancun Palace. Maybe it's just on the bottom 7 that gets them. You will definitely want to visit another palace during your stay to enjoy the beaches. I never got any stings on my exposed skin. From what I know, it's only when they are trapped against something that they fire, or are most likely too. You'll undoubtedly be sure to have sunscreen on your exposed skin, so it's probably not going to be a problem. Really, just slather yourself with sunscreen or SeaSafe and you will be fine. Denise

In my opinion, Cancun Palace. The Beach Palace has a great beach too, but it's smaller and the Beach Palace caters to kids, lots of them!!! Not that I don't like kids, heck - I have 2 of them, but when I'm on vacation without mine, I don't wanna be around anyone elses either.. Just my opinion of course... :wink:
