Usually the weather reports are far off the mark, predicting much more rain than there ever is. ..... however. There has been a full day of heavy rain today - thunder / lightening the lot. The worst rain this year so far. Downtown some of the streets are flooded with up to 3 feet of water. The good news is weather like this doesnt usually last very long and at least the rain is warm rain
its just getting it out of its systme for when we get there, altho it doesnt matter cause us crazy canucks will do the polar bear dips in the middle of feb. If you are worried of your beer they do have the floaty cups in the gift shop, which are great keeps them insulated and no spills in the pool when you fall over.

The weather in Cancun is much like Florida. It may cloud up and rain in the middle of the day for 15 minutes and then moves on. So you can either stay in the pool through the rain or go underneath the bar.
If you are not there right now, thats a great report from Steve. I've seen weather like that just a few times in our dozen times there, and most were with a hurricane situation. Probably won't see rain like that again for sometime.
It's still raining Looks like we may have a smiliar day tomorrow (Friday), but after that the weather looks much better. As for the cruise on Monday, well if the weather is like it has been the last two days it would be cancelled. We are still 4 days away though, I'm sure the bad weather will have gone by then.
Quick weather update for those of you heading out. Yesterday started out nice but in the afternoon the clouds rolled in and we had more thunder. This morning (Sunday) there's not a cloud in the sky and it's going to be a warm one.
I think Steve you need a blue screen with the map behind you and keep predicting those awsome weather reports...........see you May 2nd for the booze cruise.
