Hi All --- my group will arrive Jan 4th and we are curious as to the weather at this time. Daytime temp? Nighttime temp? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

From the Cancun Care Cancun weather tab:
    January average high: 83F
    January average low: 67F
    # days >80F: 20
    Days with rain: 5

I haven't been to Cancun myself (yet), but partner and I are going on the 26th through Feb. 2nd. Hope to have a great time!
    Steve

Usually pretty warm, and warm enough to spend some time in the pools. Warm in the evenings. Could be a couple of cooler days during the month that I hope you miss.

Looks like we will be enjoying the same weather no mater what it is as I'll be rolling in on the 4th myself.

    Doesn't look good...

I just checked the weather and i am worried. My hubby and I are coming in on the 2nd and it shows rain the whole time! The other day the forecast was all sunny....This is our 11th time down and the earlier in January means more of a chance of cooler weather. Last year was cold and I think we had one nice warm day. It is hit or miss....Please, please be wrong with the weather forecast.

This is our last year to go down so early in the year. I need to go during Christmas break but after this year, I do not. I like early February...never had a cold or rainy day when we went in Feb.

Let's hope for lots of sun!

out of 19 days 6 were rain last year and three days were cold.out of 28 days i'm expecting the ratio of good days to bad days to improve.let's see50 degrees and rain or -40 and snow.you decide,i've made up my mind

I guess we were in Mexico last year when it had the 3 cold days and a few of the rainy days. Today it is 50 degrees in southern Iowa with brilliant sunshine. The ice and snow have melted, the birds are singing.... :D

In Chicago, generally about 26 degrees F on average during the day and about 7 degrees at night.

That, unfortunately, is the only thing I have to contribute as I won't be in Mexico in January.

    :(
