LOL. For me, it's my hats I worry about, because they are made of paper that looks like straw! World's most stupid idea = paper hats for hanging around a pool. All I need to make my holiday experience perfect is a glop of paper mache stuck to my head! :umbrella1:
The forecast always says it going to rain, ignore it..Ive spent a total of 70 days total so far in Cancun (10 trips) and ive experienced around a day and a half to 2 days of rain total...once was a tropical depression which it rained for a day and the rest were just 5-10 minute showers here and there
This is pretty accurate. The weather forecast predicts rain far more often than it actually does rain. The forecast was for 60% chance of rain almost every day for the last 2 weeks, my guess is it has rained about 3 days mainly at night for short periods. January (on average) has 5 rain days during the month and is the 4th driest month of the year. Rain days means days that it rains at all, not rains all day. There's a reason so many people take a vacation to Cancun at this time of year, and it isn't for the rain! For stats on typical January weather please see: Cancun Weather in January
We were there in March last year and had some hit and miss weather. Unfortunately I think we got an uncharacteristic amount of rain. But we kept the party going in the sexy pool, or moved the party to someone's room. You just have to make the best of what mother nature delivers! But we are hoping for more perfect, sunny days this go around!:usa1:
