We just got home last night and we're wondering...

Like others have said, the worst feeling is the first few minutes after you check out and they cut off the wristband. It makes me feel like a naked newborn baby deer who has been thrust out onto a 10 lane high speed freeway during rush hour. Getting onto the shuttle to go to the airport is not unlike being loaded onto a prison bus on your way to San Quentin. To top it off the plane ride back feels like you are on the last flight out of Hanoi at the end of the Vitenam war. And finally going through customs back in Canada is not unlike being pulled back into the East German side of Berlin during the Cold War.

 

That's some serious stuff there, hahahaha. You might want to just move down there and get a bartending job.

 

Come back in May. We met so many people on this site before our trip that when we got to TTR almost every other couple we ran into we remembered from CCC

 

too bad about the Boobs Cruise you would have met all the CCC members there. Next time do it.

And then you have to sit in the "lounge of shame" with all the others in limbo. Still at the resort, but no wrist band, waiting for the shuttle to come and take you back to reality. We really hate that part too.

Lmao! Dan called it the lounge of shame too. We refused to sit in there. We had our wristbands cut at 1pm but weren't picked up until 2:15 so we got as drunk as we possibly could at the premeir bar in that time and then meandered our way over to the front of the resort at 2:13...neither of us said a word the entire way to the airport.

These posts are a true summary of the good times we all share at TTR. We have found that our sadness post vacation begins to subside once the next trip is booked. Then the sadness changes to excitement as we start the countdown. Glad to hear you had a great time.
