wellllll, that's a good question! My first visit to the Omni we were upgraded to an oceanview jr suite ... but in November my friends were not. They were told at check-in that the upgrade could be used on their next visit I would join anyway, cause it's free. Their website does state "benefits start the minute you sign up" or something to that effect. Join and see what happens!
