After some trepidation about booking at Golden, we decided it was the best for us. The price was better than both Sens and TTR. The only thing that was the real sticking point was the "bump" issue that so many folks reported on TA last year during the same time. We'll deal with it if it happens, I guess. We need a good beach, don't need to be bottle-fed entertainment all day, and want to party and relax at our own pace. TTR will have to wait another year or two.
Oh I will! (I did a pretty long one last year for our GOV trip. I wish it wasn't sold because we would definitely would have gone back. That beach was amazing!)
I booked through Apple Vacations last year, and my Apple travel agent assured us that we would not get bumped. There is an Apple rep near the lobby. I cannot speak for the other travel companies or if you book it yourself though.
We booked through Funjet and their local rep in Mexico is Loomis travel. When we stayed there last year the Loomis travel rep at the airport told us not to worry about it. That funjet has a contract and they won't bump you. We didn't get bumped but others checking in be c ore us did. Not sure if the Loomis guy was right or if we got lucky. We are booked and going again in 8 days.
