thanks for all the info... we have trip booked in Feb...but may change it up and add three days at GOV if things work out... Looking forward to as much info as we can get.

Just thought of another question.... do they have waiters on the beach to bring you drinks, or do you have to get your own? Might sound silly but its a real plus for us....:aktion014:
Yes they do have a couple of employees that go up and down the upper beach area. and tke drink orders The weather is very bad this AM. Wind, rain, very cool. Just chatted with a couple of the bartenders and there are an unusual high # of Eastern European retirees at GOV at the moment. They were laughing and suggesting that the hotel start a Russian class, so they can understand everyone. Pretty sure they aren't Russian, mainly Polish, Romainan, etc. Did have bacon in the breakfast buffet this AM !!! The swim up also has a snack bar built in. They have a curious way of making a hamburger, They slice the patty in half and use a hotdog bun. Its really very good, just get an order of chicken nuggets to go long with it. Lots of construction on the upper level of the Mexican & Italian resturants. Totally hidden from view, but they are installing at least 10 hot tubs. I think this is going to be the Swinger ARea !!! LOL Spent 30 minutes trying to find the USB cable for my camera. all of the employees seem to be very excited about the changes happening in he next couple of weeks.

the rain/effect on walkways and the such Being it has rained, are the walkways and other exposed walking areas slippery like TTR gets? Thanks for giving up vacation time to update us.
