Waterproof cameras

I have that camera and I LOVE it. I brought it last year with no problems. Great pictures and no worries of your waterproof camera being destroyed.

 

I was gonna post a few I took last weekend of some kids in the pool. Its a PITA to post here or Im just stupid

 

It's definitely a PITA to post pics here unless they posted on a different site.

OK so the easiest way I have found to post picture on the site is to:

Using your own picture
1. Save the picture to your My Documents > My Pictures folder (or wherever you want to save them)
2. Open the picture in Paint and Shrink the size if needed (sometimes with new better tech, pictures are huge, and it is better to resize them instead of just zooming in or out)
3. Go to a picture hosting site and upload the picture. https://pixr.co/
4. Copy the URL that is created from the drop down labeled "Direct link"
5. Click on the "insert image" icon your CC post
6. Paste the URL
7. select "ok"
-your image should have loaded to your post

If you pulling a picture from the web to include
1. Find a picture on the internet
2. Use your "Snipping Tool" (Start > All programs > Accessories) to select the image (New > then drag the box over the image)
3. Save the picture to My pictures
Repeat steps 3-7 above

I bought this Fujufilm one before my trip last month because I can't find my Nikon Coolpix one for the life of me. Fujifilm XP70 16.4Megapixel Waterproof Digital Camera Yellow XP70 YELLOW BUNDLE It's 'ok' for around the $200 mark. I got mine at Costco on sale for around $170 so I could return it if it sucked. My Nikon one was over $300.

I really like the float strap. It makes it very convenient when you need to be hands free in the pool and don't have any place to put the camera. Just let it float for a minute. And it's easy to detach when you want to take the camera out that night.

Pretty much all of the pics from my most recent album were taken with it.

 

Where did you get the float strap? That would be very handy.

 

It came with it.

 

Looks like you can buy them separately though.
