Waterproof Cameras - hints and suggestions

    I got the Olympus 850SW. Took it down in May.Everything worked great even under water...lol...But i did what Stew was talking about each night. The only thing i have not done is the salt water...Not sure yet...lol..My camera shop tells me it will be fine...They even told me that it works well in beer...LMAO!!! :lol:

    I have a water proof camera that works up to 30 ft. It tells you to clean it after every use, after getting out of salt water to soak it for ten minutes in clean fresh water then dry completely. And DO NOT jump in to water with camera as this can force water into the camera. I thought that was a for good tip seeing as how we do a lot of horse playing around the pool. Also do not lay in or around sandy areas.
