Thanks for the info!! Sounds like this is going to add hours and days to the reservation process, but the savings should be well worth it. Actually the principle of the issue should be well worth the time.

okay deal

Back in October I traded my points membership in for their new improved membership. Of course, I didn't have any choice.

I have my 5 rooms a year which are worthless to sell. However, we are giving them away.

I just gave away my 1st room. They have to pay $1085 for one week in October plus $613 airfare for 2. Plus they get the upgraded room (ocean view, menu, alcohol). I looked this week up on travelocity for the same dates and they will save about $400 going through me.

Not much savings...but glad to pass it on.

So in otherwords.... I am saving $400 everytime I go to Temptation for the next 25 years......

make sure they know there will be another 49 dollar fee when they arrive or copy your contract and send it with them and if they try to charge the 49 dollars fee have your freinds ask them to show it to them in your contract, it is not there! In the print out for your resvervations there is a line stating there is a 49 dollar fee, if you are not with your guest. Terry

 

You know, I haven't seen but 1 person on here thats benefited from this points scam. Does anybody remember how exactly they benefited?

 

Besides me , early on in these posts, I cant remember who else was happy with premier, remember reading some one at the naked truth site that was happy, but not here, maybe I just forgot, this thread as been here for a while now. Terry

 

when I 1st became Premier, I loved it, it worked just like I wanted it to when I bought it. We used it for airfare twice for 49 each...in those cases we more or less prepaid for our vacations, and that was what I was looking for. The special rooms, menus, lobster...my husband just thinks it is the greatest...me, not so much, doesnt matter to me.
Then when they changed the points thing you couldnt get out of it what I bought it for. from the looks of it what they are trying to get everyone to change to is pretty useless if you ask me. If you have to give away your weeks, and not able to use them at a different resort?? what is the purpose?
Without something happening legally I dont think Premier will do a dang thing to change the way it is now. They would just as soon leave it the way it is now.....or have people change to this new and improved contract, that way they think they are off the hook...
I will never use my contract again....I can get a cheaper trip thru apple, or travelocity...or another site.

 

I do like being a member, I like the room, I like the check in, I like the beach resevred area, I like not waiting in a long line to get reservatins.....is that worth what we paid...... HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!! Terry

 

Well say for instance I come down on a cheaper package w\funjet or someting am I still liable for annual maint. fee that is applied to AI fee's anyway?
