Some encouraging news... I emailed Clayton Voegtle to get an update on the class action suit and he replied that they have found someone from NJ to be the primary plaintiff for the suit. However, due to the holidays, the suit has not been filed yet because the attorney from NJ has to meet with the potential plaintiff first. Hopefully it will be done soon.

On another note, I went onto RCI's website over the weekend and it appears they have done it again. They have changed the Points Partners program again... now it is directed at all RCI Points members. Effective Dec. 11? only one third of a members annual point allotment can be used towards Points Partners to a maiximum of 250,000 points. They also slightly increased the value of the points for Points Partners discounts. Don't worry we're still being screwed because our 60,000 point exception for Premier members is still there in the fine print! Now it seems like everyone is getting screwed by RCI's Points Partners program. I'd love to know who gets an annual allotment of 750,000 points to be able to use the new maximum of 250,000 points allowed for Points Partners???!!!!

Sounds like RCI just shook up a hornets nest world wide.

You know with the way economy is now the last thing any company should be doing is giving itself a black eye. Seems to me this might be a cost cutting measure that had to be done. Problem it may also have put one foot in the grave for RCI. Won't take long for this new to spread like wildfire.

Chris had told me RCI was going to limited all points partners to 60,000 points, not sure if this change is better than that or worse than the 60,000 points, according to what I was told , the ban for us to use 60,000 points will be liffed if you sign a new contract.Your points would be divided for 25 yrs and that was how many points you could use a year for points parnters. The way I look at it, Points partner( a different company from RCI, but doing buisness under RCI name) has screwed us all. The Tugs website might be an interesting place to visit right now. I'm looking forward to hearing about that.

I didn't mention here before but I had a good chat to Chris in mid November, I was fully confident that he was trying to make this whole bad situation good for all concerned despite some hurdles.

If Chris is gone then I honestly dont see the situation improving.

Lowrider is right anytime someone new comes in they figure out quite quickly there is some major problems with Premier and the owners seem to want a follower in that position not a leader.

Anyone that wants to help/fix issues with Premier always eventually runs into a brick wall. The only wall strong enough to stay standing would be the owners of the resort. I don't know maybe some of are attention/efforts should be directed towards them.

P.S.: Would be great if Chris just popped in here once more and aired out all the dirty laundry that is going on behind the scenes. :D

Chris left on Dec 12 th , he could no longer deal with Premiers inability to deal with their clients. He could not handle the way Bert wanted to handle the change overs, Bert has vowed to make money on each transaction (new contract) reguardless. This was effecting his health and happiness, so he quit. He has gone back into radio and will be running 2 radios stations out side of Dubin Ireland. I will miss him. I think he told me how premier was in default of our contracts, waiting to hear back from him to be sure I unde stood what he said. Terry
