I am coming in to this one rather late but I also feel like I am getting screwed on my points partner deal. I haven't received anything from Premier or Temptations. How do I get in on the class action part? I hate litigation but sometimes that is our only recourse. The bad thing is I love the resort so we will keep going back. I guess I will just have to consider it separation of business and pleasure.

There is an attorney named Clayton Voegtle from Illinois that has been in touch with about 20 of the people who have posted on this forum. He can be contacted at Clayton@voegtlelaw.com. I understand he is working with another attorney from NJ and they are close to filing a suit there. I encourage you to jump on board, class action suits are taken on a contigency basis so you really don't have much to lose.
    Good Luck!

Send this guy an email. I understand he's putting together a class action lawsuit to remedy this situation.

They would not allow you to return I don't think. Not sure about how it would affect your credit rating

Dave, how would they know if you returned booking under Alpharooms, or some other venue?? I think you just cant use your Premier to book.

I dont know for sure, I have still paid mine, we love the resort, I do know some here have gotten collection calls from Premier for not paying...I dont think I am renewing my membership with RCI......what the heck for?? then again my husband says what if it gets fixed?? then we have to join RCI again, but IMO they are not going to refuse our money for membership?? just sayin....

That's what I meant Penny, I didn't say it very well. I would think you could book any other way and still go to the resort, just not through Premier. We have paid our contract in full so they already have my money. I will not pay more money to "upgrade". When I run out of points or nights I will book in another way. My thinking is that they did not honor this contract....so why would I believe they would honor the next one.JMHO

    any new info

We are going in a few weeks and are wondering if there has been new information on the problems. We have read where some have changed there contracts and others are waiting. We are going with an open mind but are unhappy with our purchase. We are paid in full with 6 bonus weeks and 8 million points that we could not even use any of for this trip. Please let us know if any one has had any luck when down on vacation with them.

    Re: any new info

We haven't heard of anyone having any luck with thier bogus "New Contract" . I have heard of a few singles still being able to use thier contract though . We don't have as big a contract as you guys but nevertheless we hoped that we could use ours twice a year . Now if we want to go like you we have to pay for everything ourselves so why pay them anything for premier when you don't get anything in return . We didn't get anywhere with Claire Whright you might be able to talk to Burt and get somewhere . Good luck .
