    No problem, I meet Berrnie when he was still a guest, He was all right then, But now He is just like the rest of the Vultures, It's all about the money. Trained to be very pushy. I sure hope this comes to an end soon.
    If RCI and TTR would just give us what we paid for they would have the greastest sales force ever. US. Referals sales are the way to go. Guess they are to blind to see that. Poor Manangement

    You hit the nail on the head Al . The sales staff are vultures and as long as they are being vultures then they will only get bad reports from thier customers , not , words of praise like you gotta join this !!! That's what they are claiming not what thier getting !!!

    It seems that they could figure this out.... Happy Members means more NEW Members which spells Mo Money!!!! Everybody wins.

    I thought the same thing Al.....waiting for some to return from TTR??

    I know it takes forever, but personally waiting to hear from the Attorney....*sigh**

    I wonder how 12531 made out with his negotiations. I just received the release letters from RCI a couple days ago. One was a one time ability to use an extra 100,000 points towards Points Partners to pay for airfare to renegotiate my contract with Premier and the other was an offer for a refund of my RCI annual membership fee if I wanted to cancel my membership. Both letters came with the stipulation that I would no longer hold RCI liable for any losses. I don't think so... Hell would freeze over before I'd sign either one of them and I would strongly suggest that no one else does either! :!:

    Company's usually don't offer deals with stipulations that you can't hold them liable in the end unless they know that they can and will be held liable in the court of law.

    Why can't they just suck it up and admit they made a mistake? Stand behind the contracts and be done with it. In reality during the time they sold this inflated points deal I'd be surprised if Premier sold more then a 100 cotracts between the few resorts. You know a good 50%+ of the members won't even use there contract to the fullest. Won't surpise me if another 10% never even hardly touch there contract. I doubt more then 25% would even take full advantage of all the points. The rest would just fall somewhere in between. Its not like every member will use all 5 million points or whatever.

    I agree, and there are probaby members out there that have NO idea that the contracts have been pretty much made usless, to an extent.

    I would encourage everyone NOT to sign anything from RCI or Premier, I think Renee is right, if we wait they might just suck it up and make the contracts right again??

    I am moving forward with the attorney, as fast as he can go anyway....courts can take FOREVER!!! but then again, with the AI fees as high as they have them, I can just book with alpha rooms and catch a good deal on a flight and be down there just that quick!! not the section D rooms, or the other perks, but hey if you need a TTR fix!!

    Looks like I will have to be doing that in May anyway, dont see this getting resolved before then...

    I might be an exception to the rule, but I had fully intended to use all my points over the 25 year life of the contract. That is, if my Points Partners usage was unlimited. I usually try to take 2 weeks of vacation a year and figuring around an average of 130,000 points for airfare for 2 and another 50 - 60,000 points for accomodations for each of those weeks, I could have easily used my 8.5 million points within the 25 year span of my contract. Now with only being able to use 60K/year towards airfare, that leaves a bunch of points I could never use up & a whole lot more money out of my pocket for airfare & other travel expenses. I bought the package with the intention of using at least 2/3 - 3/4 of my points towards Points Partners and now it's just a pipe dream! :mad:
    Somebody owes me a lot of money!!!!!!!!!!!
