I would be interested in joining in on a possible class action lawsuit, however like every one else I'm concerned about the cost. Most everyone has invested a large sum of money already & are a little leery about spending more. Hopefully this lawyer ( Clayton Voegtle ) can come up with a plan that is affordable to us so we can fight to regain the full use of our contracts or get our money refunded. Please forward any more information that anyone may receive. Thanks

I to have been in touch with Clayton. I believe he is looking to file the class action against RCI but I wonder if it is Premier who is the real culprit here if filing against RCI will do anything. I Highly suggest you all to file a complaint with Profeco (google it). They are the mexico eqivilent of consumer complaints. It takes awhile for them to move along but Premier will have to send a rep to answer my complaint this month. (to Mexico city I believe). Now if they get complaints from all of us and Premier has to keep appearing before them. That could get a little expensive as well as annoying!

In response to your questions Terry, we have been members for a year and a half and have about 5.5 million points left. The program they offered us last week for $4200 included 4 AI weeks, not annually, and 3 weeks to put up for rental if I remember correctly. Again, when they started asking for more money, I tuned out real fast. I wasn't about to send good money after bad. I don't understand how you can absolve Premier from any blame for this mess when they got all of our money. When I said we paid them 40 million, I believe this to be a conservative estimate.

Bravo Slotman. I emailed Clayton and I'm ready to hop on the bandwagon if he can file a class action lawsuit in Mexico.

I would be interested in information on lawsuits. We upgraded in January of 2008 and were told any changes from RCI would not affect current owners. We were not told when the changes occurred until trying to use the points to book through RCI (who were very snotty). We will be going to Temptations in a week so we will see how things are presented.

Nothing RCI or Premier has said or done makes me think that they weren't in this together . I do believe we would be better off sueing Premier as the main culprit and RCI secondly . Premier because they took our money and RCI because they punished us and not Premier . The saying comes to mind "Don't bite the hand that feeds you". Does RCI think that all the money comes from Temptations or from us ?

That really stinks. I purchased in Oct. by April I knew something was very wrong.
Guess we can see by this there is no trusting Premier! My only saving grace is I stopped paying them in May after paying 80% of the costand unlike sleepiedog I opted out of turning over my other timeshare to them before I left. I am now using the points from that ownership for our airfare back this month (no limitation my points use!). Although I have not been able to sell that unit yet I am glad I did not turn it over to Premier. I would be down even more money.
I have to wonder if any owners have taken this "new offer". I can't believe anyone would benefit from what I have heard so far.

Hola, you own close to what we own, do you still owe a balance? The resort is telling me this makes a minor difference in the switch over. How many points have you used? I still blame RCI for all of this. Terry

We have paid them in full. They offered me a discount for cash and I took it. I think we have used something like 300,000 points using them for two plane tickets to Cancun.
