Make sure you get some questions written down or in your head that you want defentive answers for.

Biggest question I would think would be.....How I'm my suppose to use "x" million points now that you cut us down to 60K?? The value of my contract that I paid for is in the points, you now made them almost worthless to use. Ask them if they would buy a membership with this limit like this?? No one would and that would be the basis of the lawsuit. Many contracts have rights to parties to change certain things as they see fit. But usually they can't devalue the contract to the extent of what Premier did. Like I've been saying if this could ever get in front of judge Premier/RCI would have a very hard time winning the case.

But in the end I'd try working with them and see if some type of solution can be reached with out paying more money out. They at least owe that to the members.

Also make it well known to them that anyone that asks you about Premier your going to share your horrible experience with them. People always ask too. It cost them more to lose one sale then for them to work with you to come to a no more money out of your pocket conclusion and they need to understand this.

I basically told them that Renee.....he told me the only way to fix it was to upgrade my current contract to that I switch to the AI weeks free.
When I told him he better hope no one asks me what I think about being a Premier member, he told me I couldnt lie to them, I had to tell them I get the upgraded room, and extra menu at the restaurants, and water and coffee in my room......I just nodded my head, and told him they would also be hearing about how you sold me a now useless contract.
The attorney I spoke to says that RCI has the right to change the contract as is stated in all of ours........but not to just ONE group of members, if they change it for us they have to change it for everyone. My sister and brother in law have RCI somewhere else, and they dont have the restrictions....

This is one of the reasons I think Premier is a full partner in our screwing . I think they signed a new contract w/RCI to slow the return of members . I also think that if we tell people the truth it will keep the potentual buyer from beleiving their lies . Maybe we can save other families from such a finacial burden with absolutely no benefit ....

 

Well Roy I guess we will see.....who knows, I guess we might find out only if someone has access to those records which are probably "behind closed doors"
right now it is a wait and see thing, but I am interested in what they are telling other people as they arrive at the resort...

I just went on alpha rooms and looked for when we want to go in May, I can get a room from them and a flight, much cheaper that the AI fee cost me and my daughter paid last year.....just plain stupid!!!

I just got an email from collections basically saying that RCI imposed this limitation and there is nothing they can do about it. They are offering a package to their members and would I like a "special agent" to contact me about it. Anyone else getting these emails???
I told her we will be there to speak to claire in Oct and the rest of the respose pasted below.
"While I understand your point that RCI has imposed this points limitation, I also must point out the this point limitation has only been enacted for Blue Bay Points owners not the other RCI members. I feel this is a discriminatory practice and that Premier should be outraged by being singled out. Premier should be fighting this legally for it's members as a class action suit, not leaving it up to us to suffer the loss or fight on an individual basis. If Premier chooses to offer alternative packages rather than do that, then allowing members to rescind their contract should also be part of the offer. Some members such as myself have not gotten to use ANYTHING of what we purchased. The amount of points we were sold and told we could use for points partners cannot possibly be used in a lifetime at the amount limited. Therefore our contract should be able to be recended if we choose that option after hearing what you have to offer. I will certainly hope the package you are offering measures up in value to the points value I purchased. If not I will be seeking to recind my contract, if Premier is not willing to bring a class action suit against RCI on behalf of their members. I will keep an open mind waiting to hear what from Claire in October what Premier has to offer.
