Has anyone transferred points to RCI from Premier since this whole thing started? If so, did it work or were there problems with that also?

I believe transferring in is no problem I think i put in 19,600 in May which my contract says they will automatically transfer annually to keep the account open (but they didn't surprise!) . i called and reminded them so i think it is in there but who would know since I can't access it online! The real problem is using the points with the 60K annual limit in place and having to go through Premier to do it since we seem to be personna non grata with RCI for our annual membership dues!

Logging onto RCI today I went to the Points Partner page and clicked the terms and conditions and this is at the very bottom:

    • RCI Members who purchased interests at a Blue Bay Resort (including Blue Bay Club and the Blue Bay Getaway, later known as Temptation Resort Spa) prior to February 29, 2008 may use up to a maximum of 60,000 (sixty thousand) RCI Points per year on Points Partner transactions.

To be honest, I have not checked that link before. It is clearly stated we are an exception to the regular RCI rules...something we are more than aware of by this point in time.

Well doesn't look like anything is going to change. RCI has to pay someone to put that into there website so you know what there stance is on the subject.

Boy if I had millions of points I'd be one pissed off SOB when I walked into the Premier office.

Hola, We got a letter today also. I guess premier could not work it out with RCI Points partners( which is not RCI) So I have 100,000 points sitting at RCI that we basicly cant use and we paid dues for three years in advance. Of course they offered us the deal before they made these changes. If I had known we would have said bye-bye RCI. Terry

Now it all comes clear why no one has contacted anyone lately. They don't want to tell you your screwed.

Well to me the only way this is going to get resolved on any level unless Premier is willing to step up(which doesn't seem to be the case) and take care of its members, is a class action lawsuit against both parties. Almost need to go through an international law firm that has an office in Cancun and back in the states. Question then comes down to is it worth the $$$$ follow through with it. I find it very hard to believe a court system would not go in favor of the members. You can't just sell someone one thing and deliever another thing. You don't go buy a BMW and go pick it up and they give you a 1982 Chevy Malibu and basically shrug there shoulders and say you signed the contract, you must pay, blah blah. Most contracts have policy changing wording in them but there is limits to what those changes can change to. But that must be interepted in a court of law. To me this change is to drastic that a court won't side in your favor. The change has basically rendered you points almost worthless.

Members can bitch and moan forever but bottom line is they got your money. They obiviously don't seem to be willing to pay it back.

Didn't one of you say a collection agency called about you not paying???
You should tell the collection agency the issue and I'm willing to bet they'll go back to Premier and tell them they can't help them. At least then Premier can't ruin your credit rating.

Maybe I am just just a person that has faith, but I really believe premier got screwed too.I know that the group that bought RCI Points partners , the Blackstone group, is in the red and we where the only resort left that allowed multi points to be transfred. I dont know what to do next, we have no contract with RCI travel partners , Only priemer can sue them with us along side. Every thing , not just this problem, that has happaned latley is making me nervious. We have over 5 million points and 8 weeks a year. Terry

Let me ask this, TTR holds our points, we have to call them to transfer points to RCI. After 240,000 points we get charged to transfer more. My point is that
TTR has all our points and our money, I don't see where you think it's RCI's fault, TTR has all of it all, MONEY AND POINTS! So in review it cost's 115.00 dollars to transfer points, which TTR gets. Then we have to pay RCI a booking fee of what used to be 49.00 each. That seemed fair. So please tell me how you think RCI is to blame! I also have over 6 millions points that TTR has not RCI
